Dana Donatelli

My name is Dana Donatelli and I am a WITS certified personal trainer and a member of IDEA Health and Fitness Association. I have been working in the fitness industry for 13 years and have been providing personal training services and instructing classes since 2008. I am also certified to teach various formats of classes which include indoor cycling, Mat Pilates, Piyo, RIPPED, Silver Sneakers yoga and classic as well as nutrition coaching. I am also a certified lifeguard. My journey to fitness started with a desire to run and has lead me on path (road and trail) to a healthy lifestyle which is always a work in progress. I am proud to say I participate in the sport of Triathlon and love to share all aspects of training for it. I believe in giving back to the community in which I am so grateful to be a part of,

I have mentored women’s running groups and this past spring was a coach for Girls on the run. I work with clients of all ages and abilities and will tailor an individualized training program to meet your specific goals and needs. I am very comfortable working with all types of equipment and modalities. My mission as a trainer is to help you define your fitness goals and work as your coach to help you become the best physical version of you.

Ally Weinhofer

I grew up living an active lifestyle from participating in multiple dance classes to playing field hockey. Keeping fit continued to be a passion of mine throughout college, working on strength training and running outdoors. After college in 2010, I fell in love with Zumba and decided to become a Zumba Instructor. From there on, I fell in love with other fitness formats. I now have experience teaching HIIT and Barre as well as guiding those to a healthier lifestyle.

My passion for fitness continued to grow as I received my Personal Training Certification through ACE and my Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition Sciences from Kaplan University. I enjoy teaching group fitness as well as one on one training. I am excited to work with you and guide you on your fitness and wellness journey.

Robert Comins

Robert grew up in Bethlehem, Pa. He has been studying Martial Arts for 24 years. He started his studies doing Shorin No Tora Karate in the Lehigh Valley. He joined the Air Force in 1998 which took him all around the world. He studied Kenpo, Wing Chun, Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, and Aikido on the west coast. He has also studied Krav Maga in Italy and Hapkido in South Korea. He instructed Hapkido in Japan for 2 years. He teaches all ages currently.

His youngest student is 7 and his oldest students are in their 80’s. Robert retired from the Air Force in July of 2014, where he was a physical training leader for 7 years. He also coached track at Liberty High School for 4 years. He holds college degrees in Applied Science, Culinary Arts and Exercise Science. He is a Certified Exercise Physiologist. His certification is through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Robert is also CPR, AED and first aid certified. He holds a 3rd degree black belt in Hapkido, 2nd degree black belt in Kuk Sool Hapkido, 1st degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and instructors levels in Kung Fu and Tai Chi.

Corey Shepherd

Corey has been working in the physical therapy field for about 10 years as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Working one on one and helping others is what made him want to get into personal training. Corey is certified through National Academy of Sports Medicine. After pursuing his personal training certificate, Corey also became a certified Health Coach and group fitness instructor.

Corey’s motivation for becoming a personal trainer and health coach is his patients. He sees on a regular basis that his patients go from rarely exercising to having to exercise 3-5 times a week, and he noticed this was both a mental and physical challenge for people. Corey looks to help his clients make a long term positive change with their health and exercise and he cant’ wait to help you!

Jay Orta

Jay picked up his  first weight at the age of 15. As a very insecure skinny teenager, he discovered weightlifting and fitness in the football training room of Freedom High School, even taking Fitness classes in high school instead of regular gym class. Fitness was a way for him to apply hard work and effort towards changing and re-inventing himself. He was fascinated with the idea of getting stronger and becoming creating a better version of himself.

After sustaining an injury from heavy lifting in 2016, he suffered from terrible disc herniations and sciatic pain, leaving him unable to lift his right leg more than a few inches off the ground for over a year. Through seemingly endless hours of research on corrective exercise and practice, the injury slowly healed. Although this was a challenging time, it is what formed his view on health and how he can share it with others. Today, he is dead lifting over 400 pounds completely pain-free. He healed his body and changed how he communicates fitness and health, which drove him to becoming a Certified Personal Trainer.

Fitness is a passion and lifestyle to him and he is very excited to help others progress in their fitness journeys. Jay enjoys to powerlift, work on mobility drills and is going to pursue a certification as a Corrective Exercise Specialist

Chelsea Walp

Starting at age five, Chelsea spent eight years practicing gymnastics which made her truly value coordination, flexibility & strength. Throughout high school & college she transitioned through sports such as tennis, track & field, softball and competitive cheer-leading. Athletics & fitness in general have always been of great importance to her which is how she ended up studying Exercise Science at West Chester University. While at WCU Chelsea minored in coaching & nutrition as these areas of study also peaked her interest. Following graduation, she worked as a personal trainer for two years in both Pittsburgh & Allentown before deciding to return to school at East Stroudsburg University in 2015.

Chelsea earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Science from ESU. Following her graduation she decided to stay there to teach the undergraduate Exercise Science lab-based classes for one year. When she’s not exercising, she’s teaching others to exercise in the form of diagnostic cardiac testing or cardiac rehabilitation. Four total years as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist has made her appreciate ability, health & wellness on many levels. With her wide range of experience she would like to share as much as possible with the community here at Valley Wellness Center!

During family hours junior members under 12 years may use the Climbing Cove(ages 5+ with valid climbing card), Gymnasium, Therapy Pool and Lane 1 of lap pool with adult member supervision.
